February - Registration

Registration for the 2012 Season will be held January 31 & Feb 1 5:30 to 7:30 pm, at the Bristol Central High School cafeteria and Feb. 4, 9 am to noon at the Giamatti Little League Center. Registration Fees: $60 for T-Ball, $75 for Little League, $100 for Junior League plus raffle. Watch the Bristol Press for details.

Mar - Pre tryout Clinic

A clinic will be held for all candidates prior to the regular tryout session. This clinic will be held at the Diamond Kings facility. All those who will be trying out for major league or AAA teams this season are welcome to attend.

Mar 12-14 - Tryouts

Tryouts for major league and AAA teams will be held in the Bristol Central High School gym. Age 8 & 9 AAA minors on March 12, 6:15 p.m. Majors age 9-12 on March 13, 6:15 p.m. Snow date March 15.

Mar 22 - First Day of practice

The first day of practice for major league baseball teams is Mar. 22, weather and field conditions permitting.

Mar. 29 - First Day of practice for AAA teams

The first day of practice for AAA minor league baseball teams is Mar. 29, weather and field conditions permitting.

Easter - Annual Canvass

Our annual fund raising canvass will be conducted at various stores throughout the Bristol community during the Easter weekend. Please support our league with your generous contributions.

Apr 1 - Manager's Meeting

All managers will meet on Apr. 1 for the annual preseason training session. Included at this meeting will be a presentation by athletic trainers and safety officials as well as the league's operating manual.

Apr 2 through 6 - AA and T-Ball Assignments

AA and T-Ball teams will begin practicing the week of April 2. All players should be informed of their team assignments by April 6.

Apr. 16 - First Game Tentative Schedule

The first major league baseball games are tentatively set for Apr. 16.

Apr 28 - Opening Day

Opening Day ceremonies to kick off our 63rd season will be held on Saturday, Apr 28 at the Frazier Field Complex. All teams will be present for the opening activities. All major league baseball, all AAA and AA Minor teams and most T-Ball teams will play on that day.
